Circular 0027/2014: Cost Limits for Primary School Buildings

The Department of Education and Skills (DES) have issued Circular 0027/2014 Cost Limits for Primary School Buildings. The Planning and Building Unit of the Department of Education and Skills has kept under review the movements of Primary School building costs since the Basic Building Cost was reduced to €930/m2 in January 2011. As a result, the DES has decided that the Cost Limits in circular 0027/2014 will apply from 2nd April 2014. The revised Cost Limits allow for changes in market conditions and revisions to the Department’s Technical Guidance Documents since January 2011.
