CPSMA regret the passing of Reverend Father Gerard McNamara

The Board and Secretariat of CPSMA would like to express our condolences to the family and friends of our former General Secretary, Fr Gerard McNamara, who was laid to rest this afternoon. CPSMA extends our sympathies also to the bishops and priests of the Diocese of Limerick, and to the parishioners of Bulgaden-Martinstown parish on the loss of Fr McNamara.
Fr Gerard McNamara was appointed as General Secretary of CPSMA in December 1987 and served for 4 years. He also served, for many years, as the Limerick Diocesan Advisor to schools. CPSMA is thankful for his long and dedicated service to Catholic education.
May he rest in peace.
