NCSE – Resource Hours Update

The NCSE (National Council for Special Education) has confirmed that Friday, September 20th 2013, is the closing date for receipt of applications for individual resource teaching hours (2nd round applications) for the 13/14 school year. Applications that were received from schools after the previous deadline of 15th March will also be considered in this second round of allocations.
All schools are required to complete and submit a Pupil Attendance Form (click here for form) confirming that children with SEN, in respect of whom they have already received sanctioned supports for, are now attending in September. Should a school become aware of a pupil, who is not attending the school in September, where supports have already been sanctioned, this should be clearly indicated to the SENO on the Pupil Attendance Form.
